Azimut has officially launched the Grande 44M, its new flagship superyacht that redefines the contemporary superyacht experience through advanced technology and intelligent use of space.
Unveiled in Viareggio on 9 July 2026, the Grande 44M already has seven hulls sold, underlining strong market confidence in Azimut’s vision for larger yachts. The model represents the culmination of the brand’s push into the superyacht segment, where models over 24 metres now account for more than two-thirds of its production value.
At the heart of the design is extensive use of carbon fibre — making up over 50% of the vessel — which significantly reduces weight and enables a groundbreaking four-deck layout. This allows the entire Upper Deck to be dedicated to the owner, complete with private terraces offering panoramic sea views. The sleek profile, penned by Alberto Mancini, seamlessly integrates the wheelhouse on the fourth deck.
A standout feature is the Mezzanine Deck with its Sea View Terrace and the signature See-Through Pool, which creates beautiful light effects in the beach club while maintaining visual connection to the ocean.
Interior design by m²atelier emphasises intentional living, with flexible spaces on the owner’s deck that can transform into a veranda dining area for twelve, a private media room, or guest lounge. Expansive windows and a bow firepit lounge enhance the connection between indoor and outdoor living.
Technologically, the Grande 44M sets new standards in the Low Emission fleet. Key innovations include Hull Vane® foil technology (using a lightweight carbon fibre foil), a Dual Mode hull for optimised efficiency across speeds, integrated solar panels, and a Mild Hybrid system that enables silent, zero-emission anchor time for several hours. These advancements deliver up to a 30% reduction in CO₂ emissions compared to traditional yachts of similar size.
The first Grande 44M is now in the final stages of outfitting ahead of delivery. The model will make its world debut at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival.
